Welcome to Eagle Ranch, where family roots run deep, sunsets blaze across open skies, and the sounds of farm life fill the air.
Our story began on March 31st, 2017, when we purchased a quiet piece of land that held only a half-finished pole barn and an old abandoned mobile home. Frank and Mary Lowry, the heart and soul of our family legacy, moved into that humble pole barn home. With a small chicken coop, a few chickens, and a couple of ducks, they set the stage for what would soon become a thriving family ranch.
As time went on, the mobile home was renovated for more living space, and they moved into it while planning the future of the farm. The flock grew, as did the family’s love for the land. When Mary’s Alzheimer’s began to progress, their granddaughter, Stephanie, came often to help with groceries, chores, and caring for the animals.
Then came the goats—first Stella the Pygmy goat, then Jack, her companion. They will always be a part of the family for two reasons: they were the first non-feathered livestock and were named after Frank and Mary's nicknames for each other.
Frank soon purchased the neighboring farm, inheriting a herd of Angus cattle and a donkey. The animal collection flourished—longhorn cattle, pigs, horses, miniature horses, turkeys, peacocks, and rabbits. Babies were born, and the ranch bustled with life, embodying the essence of farm life.
One by one, the Lowry family joined in—daughters Tammy and her husband Butch, Anita, and Lynn moved to the farm, while Jeanetta moved nearby on her own family farm. Together, they cared for the growing menagerie.
In 2022, Eagle Ranch entered a new chapter, welcoming more exotic animals—camels, emus, sloths, porcupines, kangaroos, swans, wagyu, and even reindeer. Frank expanded the land, built more barns, dug another lake (five in total, some with docks and one with a sandy beach), and created a custom cabin for himself and Mary to enjoy their golden years.
Mary’s sudden passing in 2023 from cancer left a deep mark on all of us. In her honor, Frank built a peaceful cemetery on the property so they can remain together forever.
Today, Eagle Ranch is a place of beauty and wonder—rolling fields, wooded trails, peaceful lakes, and skies so clear you can see the northern lights on the right nights. We’re home to an unforgettable caboose-turned-tiny-home Airbnb, and we’re excited to be adding a campground with tiny cabins and retro campers by next summer.
Eagle Ranch isn’t just a farm—it’s a living legacy of love, family, and the simple joys of country life. Whether you come to relax, explore, or meet our incredible animals, you’re not just visiting our ranch—you’re becoming part of our story.
